I currently accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross California, Cigna, Optum, United Healthcare, and Medicare. I use Headway to manage the eligibility and billing administrative work for commercial insurance. I bill Medicare directly. I also have limited openings to see individuals with Medicare and offer limited in-home visits for Medicare clients living in several cities within San Mateo County, CA.
If you do not have one of these insurance plans and would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a "super bill" that you can submit to your insurance that may cover some of the cost. Be sure to verify the limits of your insurance if you plan to file a request for reimbursement.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact me to let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule. I have a 24-hour late cancellation policy. You will be charged the full rate if you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or for missed appointments.
I accept credit, debit, FSA, and HSA card payments. Credit card information is billed after each session and is stored in a HIPAA compliant electronic medical record.
